Paul has 20 years Mechanical Maintenance, Reliability and Integrity experience in the hazardous chemicals industry as a Chartered Engineer and a leader in Inspection Management in a highly regulated environment. Complementing his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Paul also has an MBA in Industrial Management and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Paul Sheriff has 30 years of Mechanical Maintenance, Reliability, Project Management and Integrity experience split evenly between the steel industry and the hazardous chemicals industry. He has been a Chartered Engineer for over 25 years and is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. As well as a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Paul also has a MSc in Engineering Management and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Having worked upstream, midstream and downstream, Wayne brings over 45 years of Oil and Gas experience. Wayne joined the team after spending 30 years as the owner and general manager of a mechanical integrity inspection services company. Holding API 510, 653 and 1169 certifications, Wayne also has his AWS CWI, STI SP001 and NACE Corrosion Technologist certificates. A past Chairman of the Contractors and Manufacturer's Task Group with API, he remains an active member of API, AWS, NACE, ASME and ASNT.
With more then 20 years of inspection in the chemical and petroleum-based industries. For the last 18 years his primary focus has been on the implementation and management of risk-based inspection. Chris has implemented programs for companies like Tesoro, HollyFrontier, Koch, Sunoco and others.
Kenny comes to AOC from an owner-operator, where he most recently served as the US Gulf Coast Risk-Based Inspection SME and the Global Mechanical Integrity Safety Standard technical resource. Kenny brings almost two decades of experience with mechanical integrity and inspection programs, including risk-based inspection, and currently holds his API 510, 570, 653 and 580 certifications.
Jonathan brings over a decade of Oil and Gas experience, with both a sales and HSE background. A strong knowledge of Petrochemical processes along with manufacturing health, safety and environmental issues, he has built management systems, training and risk assessment programs for a variety of industries. With experience as both a service provider and end-user, he excels in providing a customer first focus and problem solving skills while delivering proven results.
Marcus began his career in the industry as a visual inspector and advanced to site coordinator for Capstone Engineering. More than 15 years later, he has successfully run implementations and evergreen projects for multiple sites.
Lawrence Peterson is known for his attention to detail as a Team Leader for AOC. He has 15 years of experience as a former coordinator, inspector, and project manager at various engineering companies. Lawrence holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Billy comes to us from the aviation industry and brings over 20 years of experience in the areas of safety, maintenance, inspection, and project management. Billy's attention to detail and enthusiasm will be an asset to both AOC and the customers he serves.
With 16 years of experience, John has spent nearly half his life in the reliability field. Starting out as a Level 1 NDE technician, and obtaining all of the requisite API certifications along the way, John has advanced his career and has been employed by inspection contractors as well as refining and chemical companies. His time on the owner/user side of the business will allow him to fully understand and anticipate the needs and goals of AOC's diverse client base.
Melissa brings over 20 years of experience to the AOC team, with expertise in the areas of operations, inspection, maintenance and safety management. She has worked on projects as a QC inspection, maintenance coordinator and a piping field engineer. She has also worked as a Level II implementer within Oil and Gas refineries.
Brian brings over 10 years of experience in the chemical and refining industry. He began his career as a contract and owner-user inspector for multiple organizations. More recently he has served in operations as a Reliability Coordinator and Maintenance Engineer. Brian has a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from Lamar University as well as API 510, API 570 and API 653 certifications.
James brings 8 years of various inspection methods in the chemical plants and refineries. He began as a NDE helper and progressed into API and NACE Coating Inspection. On top of being an API Inspector he has served as the Owner/User representative on multiple projects helping meet every goal. He has achieved multiple NACE/API certifications including his API 580.
John is an expert on the complete implementation of process safety management, including mechanical integrity, RBI, and design basis documentation. He has more than 35 years of experience in process industries, energy, and technical project management.
Steve has more than two decades of experience as a draftsman and piping designer for large refineries and chemical plants. As the owner of OffsiteCAD, he provides basic and custom drafting services for chemical plant environments.
With over 20 years of experience as a technician and leader in agile software environments, Steve is known for his ability to work across various platforms, technologies, and tiers, from the database to user interface and interactive design.
Kay Dawn is the consummate administrative professional in the engineering sector of oil and gas, petrochemical, and offshore industries. Her experience spans onshore and offshore projects in domestic and international markets as well as various corporate environments.
